Deborah attends the Ithaca Presbyterian Church.
It is a Bible believing Church with faith in the living God, trust
in his Son and reliance on the Holy Spirit. Who aim to Praise
God above all else, preach His word (the Bible) clearly and to
minister to all people reflecting God's wonderful love.
COMMUNITY WORSHIP
Each week, around 100 people from all ages worship at two services at Ithaca Presbyterian Church.
Both services focus on praising God and hearing His message. All ages, including families with babies, are welcome.

Sunday Mornings at Ithaca Presbyterian
Morning Service - 9.30am
The morning service centres on the Word of God.
The traditional pipe-organ accompanies the hymns.

Kidz Church
For school or pre-school-aged children (3 years and over), Kidz Church starts in the Church building at 9.30am with the rest
of the congregation. Often the children like to sit up the front. After the children's address from the Minister, the kids move
down to the lower hall (down the driveway), and continue their praise and worship.

Kidz Church is designed to allow lots of singing, movement, prayer, missionary activities, and giving, as well as Bible stories
and learning Bible passages, to enable the children to grow in knowledge and love of the Lord.

The children who attend Kidz Church openly pray for others, and give to an offering to support less-fortunate children
overseas.

The adults who lead Kidz Church are confessing Christians. Leaders are required to be communicant members of the
congregation.

Cook Islander Service - 11am
Each Sunday morning, an active Cook Islander community worships in the Cook Island Maori language.
Cook Island worshipers are made up of Ithaca members and a wider community throughout Brisbane.

Sunday Evenings at Ithaca Presbyterian
Night Church - 6.30pm
The evening service is a relaxed way to finish a Sunday with friends praising God through music and down-to-earth talks
about faith and life. Members take an active part in the music and leading worship.

Family Room
We are used to having children in the Church, and if they get restless, please don't worry. Most of us have been through the
same with our own children, and the Minister will not be distracted by any noise.

God intends all ages to be part of the Church family, and it is important to allow children to take part in the service and to
make them feel welcome. This is what our Lord wants.

If you do need a space, we have a room with a TV link up to the Church, where children can play and parents can hear the
sermon. The floor is carpeted. Toys and a chalkboard are available to the children. This room is located underneath the
Church at the back (down the driveway and turn right). If it is raining, there are stairs behind the pulpit that lead directly to the
room.

Toilets
Toilets are located under the Church at the back. Turn right as you walk out of the Church, and right again at the back of the
Church.
