"Deborah Lovely was the guest athlete at two of the Opening Ceremonies
and the Closing Ceremony for Brisbane KidsGames 2006. There were
around 2000 children at the RNA Show Grounds to hear Deborah being
interviewed by family radio 96five announcer Billy Diehm. Deborah showed
good rapport with her audience of primary school age children. She had a
good mix of humour and information to share. The audience of parents and
children responded well to her talk and showed enthusiastic appreciation.
Her comments were both entertaining and inspiring. I recommend Deborah
as a speaker who connects well with children and adults alike."

I wish to thank Deborah very much for coming to our opening day of the
2006 Kids Games at QE11, Mt Gravatt, Queensland, and our children were
extremely happy to see you again at Village Avenue Community Church on
the following Wednesday of Kids Games. The children were so please that
they could actually see that you were a real person that had just won a
Commonwealth Gold Medal in Melbourne at weight-lifting. The way that
you spoke to our children was just great that they were so intense about how
you did win a Gold Medal that they didn't want to miss a word that you were
saying. The Kids now know that it wasn't easy to win Gold without training
hard, and the Kids thought it was wonderful and marvellous that you could
mingle with them and have their photo's taken with you.
